everyday gandhis is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization registered in Liberia and the United States, with offices in Voinjama, Liberia and in Ft. Bragg, California. Their work is locally sourced and community driven with a focus on peacebuilding and post-conflict resolution.
The unique programs they offer are based on Councils with local elders, diviners, and community members, including the community of the ancestors and Nature. Deena Metzger is an Elder consultant. They seek to engage in mutual healing and mutual accountability with their Liberian staff and the communities they work with by honoring each other’s traditions, stories, gifts and dreams. GET INVOLVED: A Call To Action
The everyday gandhis program is unique in its ability to bridge the gap between cultures, countries, class, time and place. This ability is derived from the involvement of individuals who take a stand to make a difference, no matter how big or small. The commitment of those individuals who donate their time, energy and resources towards the cause of international peacebuilding is something that cannot be fully appreciated, until you witness its effects first hand.
We hope that you take the time to explore some of the paths that everyday gandhis has developed that help build lasting peace. Whether as an individual, family, organization or anonymous party, there is no act too small to make a difference.
DONATE: All donations are tax-deductible according to law. All administrative expenses are privately funded and all contributions go 100% directly to the programs, individuals and communities we work with and/or as designated by donors.
