Anita Koroma is Founder/Country Director of Girl Child Network Sierra Leone, which supports thousands of girls from all backgrounds.
She is also the founder of EcoJC Pad Enterprise, a Social Enterprise generating funds and creating jobs for girls and women in producing Reusable Sanitary Pads. Both of these organizations focus on girls’ and womens’ holistic and economic empowerment.
She is a qualified Social Worker with close to 20 years hands-on social work experience. She is a child’s rights activist, trainer on gender issues and child rights; a trainer on menstrual hygiene management and an inspirational speaker.
Anita Koroma is a global campaigner for Menstrual Hygiene Management, and she is a Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) activist.
