African Missions Empowering Network (AMEN), was founded by Aman Berhe to help Eritrean refugees, both in Africa and in the U.S.  AMEN is a grass root faith-based-community organization dedicated to advancing health, education, empowerment, and solidarity among African refugees and immigrants residing in a host country.  AMEN also works to address the broader social justice issues through the building of alliances between the African communities and other communities in their host countries struggling for long term social changes.  In addition, AMEN provides a platform for non-profit organizations to network and collaborate focusing on refugees’ issues.  AMEN raises funds for these purposes and gratefully accepts donations.
