UCLArts and Healing, founded by Ping Ho, offers professional development training and programs for the general public in the use of the arts for social, emotional, physical and cognitive benefit. Creative expression enables us to externalize what is within. We focus on the self that emerges in the process.
UCLArts and Healing is an organizational member of the UCLA Collaborative Centers for Integrative Medicine, which promotes education and research in complementary, alternative, and integrative approaches to health and wellbeing.
UCLArts and Healing is sponsoring its inaugural Expressive Therapies Summit: LA on “Creativity & the Arts in Healing” to be held at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport from March 30-April 2, 2017. It will offer experiential training in art, dance/movement, drama, drumming, music, and writing/poetry—with a focus on psychotherapy approaches, contemplative practices and community building. Anyone may attend.
